I baked this Blueberry Muffins for my friend last weekend when I was visiting her and her family. It was the best Blueberry Muffins recipe I’ve ever tried. Really! it was so moist, delicate and very delicious.

My husband really liked it too. I will definitely make it again!

Look how moist the muffin is. And the crumbs really made it more tastier! Have it with vanilla ice cream and you’ll be extremely fascinated

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg (I used Egg Replacer)
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries (I used frozen blueberries and still turned out good)
- For crumbles
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Yield: 8 muffins
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with muffin liners.
- Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, 3/4 cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Place vegetable oil into a 1 cup measuring cup; add the egg and enough milk to fill the cup. Mix this with flour mixture. Fold in blueberries. Fill muffin cups right to the top, and sprinkle with crumb topping mixture.
- To Make Crumb Topping: Mix together 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1/4 cup butter, and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Mix with fork, and sprinkle over muffins before baking.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until done.

These look just scrumptious. If there’s one thing my family adores, it’s a good blueberry muffin. Beautiful photos!

I love any kind of cake with ice cream. You could try it too
These look REALLY good! I’m going to try it this weekend. Do you think if it’s okay if I replace fresh blueberries with the canned ones?
Hi Julia, of course you can.
I managed to get hold of fresh blueberries and tried baking these over the weekend. They turned out really good and delicious! Needless to say, they were a hit amongst my friends and neighbors. Thank you for a great recipe! Cheers!
Hi Julia,
Fresh blueberries are definitely marvelous. Thanks for trying
Hi,
This is my first time to bake the muffins. May I know what size of the cup u meant in the recipe?
Thanks.
Hi Rachel,
Cup is measurement according to US cullinary system. 1 cup equal to about 250 ml (liquid) or 227 grams (flour). You can refer to the following table for simple conversion:
